Youth Programme

The HSO Youth Program presents a unique opportunity for music students in Simcoe County to perform with a full symphony orchestra. 

The Huronia Symphony Orchestra’s professional conductor, core instrumentalists, and dedicated community musicians offer an enriched environment for students to discover a whole new world of music-making.           

This opportunity is free of charge and open to all music students who live or study in Simcoe County.         

Music students playing at a pre-orchestral level will  participate in rehearsal workshops with the HSO's conductor. They will then join the entire Huronia Symphony Orchestra to rehearse a youth orchestra arrangement of a well-known orchestral  work.             

The Huronia Symphony Orchestra Youth Program Initiative  reflects the HSO’s engagement and commitment to youth music and concerts across Simcoe County.
