Heidi Van Der Wal

This is Heidi's 9th year with the Huronia Symphony, during which time she has served as Principal Clarinet, and also as a featured soloist. 

She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Western Ontario and her graduate work at the University of British Columbia.  Heidi is currently a full-time Music Teacher/Cooperative Education teacher at Centre Dufferin District High School in Shelburne. 

Her home is in Hanover, which leads to crossed fingers as to whether or not she will conquer the winter weather in order to attend rehearsals and concerts.
