John started his musical training on the French horn at the age of 12. He played with the Niagara Youth Orchestra for 6 years as well as for professional bands in the Niagara area. John worked at Canada’s Wonderland playing French horn in a brass quintet for two summers as well as a summer at the exhibition.
After two years of music education at Western University, John did not play his horn for many years. He remained active in music by singing in choirs in Toronto and now Collingwood. John is currently the first horn of the Huronia Symphony out of Barrie.
John and his family have been in Collingwood for 16 years and he has recently graduated from the Canadian College of Osteopathy.
He is currently practicing osteopathy in Collingwood.
